Please join us on Tuesday, May 26, at 6:00pm for the Awards Banquet for Cedar Ridge Chorus. Appetizers will be served in the cafeteria, followed by a program and presentation of awards in the auditorium at 7:00pm.

Please note that school appropriate semi formal dress is required; no jeans or sneakers allowed.

TICKET INFORMATION
Advance tickets must be purchased in order to attend the Awards Banquet. Tickets are $5 for everyone including Chorus members and children, and are available now through May 22. Contact Mrs. Phillips for tickets ([email protected]).


Admission to the program at 7:00 is free.

We are thrilled to report that both Chamber Ensemble and Sotto Voce received SUPERIOR ratings at MPA! This is the highest rating awarded at the Music Performance Adjudication.

The annual Chorus Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 22. The evening begins at 6:00pm in the CRHS cafeteria with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and then moves into the auditorium for the awards ceremony at 7:00pm.

Tickets are available from Ms. Pegram NOW through the end of the school day on Monday, May 19. No tickets will be sold at the door; they are only available in advance. Admission is free for current choir students but a ticket is required to attend. Tickets for parents, siblings, and others not in the choir program are $5 per person. The admission cost helps to pay for the food we serve before the ceremony. Please get your ticket if you plan to attend! You will need it to get into the cafeteria.

Formal attire is expected. Church clothes, prom dresses, chorus tuxes: whatever you would like to wear as long as it’s formal. Ms. Pegram has asked that there be no jeans at the event.

We hope everyone will attend, so get your ticket order in NOW! Don’t forget, you can’t buy them at the door!

Each choir performed at NCMEA Adjudication to receive a rating. On Wednesday March 6, Sotto Voce and Chamber Ensemble each received a Superior rating, the highest rating a high school choir can receive in the state of North Carolina! On Thursday March 7, Concert Choir received an Excellent rating, the second highest rating awarded. Congratulations to all choir students, and of course, a big thank you to Mr. Hansen for your instruction and enthusiasm!
